What a wonderful feeling it is to welcome Spring!  Yellow daffodils are blooming right by my office entrance. The warmth of Spring encourages us to be outdoors.  Whether we want to walk or run or bike or garden, we need to first be sure that our bodies are in shape.  Getting a chiropractic adjustment first before embarking on a new exercise regimen is both prudent and judicious.  Why take any chances on having an injury before the season even gets underway?

Over the past 25 years, I have witnessed many excited Long Beachites who are thwarted in early spring by an unexpected injury after starting out with good intentions!!  This is unfortunate but the body that has “rested” during the winter is not always ready for what we have in mind for ourselves.  If your feet, ankles, knees, hips or low back are imbalanced, it not only affects your posture and your gait, but also makes you more susceptible to injury.

Walking along Long Beach’s 2.2 mile boardwalk, I am aware of the awesome beauty of nature and feel so appreciative of living here. I observe many walkers and runners who are “off-balance” and who could benefit from some good ole chiropractic adjusting.
